ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Veena is one of the oldest and most revered stringed instruments of Southern India, characterized by its mellow tone and deep resonance. Saraswathi brings a fresh verve to Veena rendition with her smooth play. She has won praise from critics and music connoisseurs alike. Whether it is classical carnatic or fusion music, Saraswathi handles the instrument with ease and aplomb, being conferred the title 'Veena Pani Saraswathi'.
Saraswathi has several performances and novel music experiments to her credit, presented to a global audience. This album is a nice collection of songs by various composers rendered in a pleasant and melodious fashion - and perhaps, one would hope, an ode to joy to the discerning listener.

ck

very nice!
I listened to the samples - and I bought the songs. Although I had not heard of this artist before, I am glad I bought all the songs - they sound so wonderful. I play it every morning at home - and while doing yoga. Peaceful. Beautiful.
