Album Notes
Sasha Leonov is a musician of Russian background who has grown up in Sydney, Australia. He has been playing both guitar and piano for many years. From an early age, music has captivated his imagination and he now seeks to create music that will, in turn, inspire the imagination of listeners. His travels have taken him to places where music plays an essential role in life, to places and cultures in which music is vital to the fabric of life itself. He believes music to have the potential to inspire, incite thought, allow escape, and to be a source of hope and joy. Indeed, music has become a significant part of his own life and character.
Sasha’s talents lie in creating beautiful atmospheres and emotions with the melodies he writes. All his music is original and inspired, with influences ranging from rock to classical, instrumental to electronic. Sasha is currently recording for his second album, which will be a collection of heartfelt folk and soft-rock songs. He is also writing melodies for future instrumental albums. He embodies the belief that nothing in this world can give expression to what is inside better than music.
