ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
SassySingz is a star on the rise. There is no denying her love for music, more preferably R&B soul & Hip Hop R&B. Influenced by Mary J. Blige’s rise to success as the Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Sassy has been gracing the stage with her melodic vocals any and everywhere she can. From the back ends of USA Flea market in liberty city, to the grand stage of FIU’s Spring Bling, Sassy has been singing her heart out. This has allowed her to open up for artists such as, Jeremiah, Miguel, Bobby Valentino and more.
SassySingz’ has been writing and producing her own music since 2001 and has become one of the most recognized voices in her city and beyond. She received “The Next Big Thing” award for Soul artist of the year in 2011 after the release of her critically acclaimed “No Reason” music video. Shortly thereafter, she released her first independent mixtape project titled, “The Threat” in November of 2011. She has proven to be a threat, ever since. Sassy has also been recognized as City of Miami Gardens 2011 Breakout Artist of the year and she recently won a singing contest on WEDR 99jamz, which led her to the Essence Music Festival in 2012. Sassy had the honor of being the only Haitian artist to perform at the 2012 Miami/Broward Caribbean Carnival Festival. Her most exciting achievement to date; winning Best Female R&B artist of 2012 at the Best in Florida Awards. She also had one of the very first songs she’s every written, “Ultimate Fear” chosen by music industry executive, Belvit Jordan, to be the official theme song for the Save The Twinz Breast Cancer Charity Organization.
Because of her tenacious attitude and determined spirit, Sassy has been able to work with some of the greats in the music business, including Hip Hop icon, Monie Love. She has worked side by side with Monie on various projects including the “Ladies First Music Showcase”. A platform created by Monie Love for independent female artists to showcase their musical talent. Not only has her talent opened doors for her but her winning personality has as well. SassySingz is the co-host of “The Hip Hop Soul Lounge” an online radio show on DaBuzzEnt.com and she also co-hosts The Morning Tempo Show on KradioLive.com.
Sassy has just released a new single “What Do I Do” produced by Jimmy Dade from her upcoming EP “The Revival: R&B IS NOT DEAD” set to be released on Jan. 23, 2013 on www.SassySingz.com. These are just a few endeavors but not to say the least for Sassy as she continues to work hard towards her dreams. There is no doubt that you will continue to hear more from Sassy, as she “Singz”.
