ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Sax G writes, produces, and performs Tu Me Manques, inviting you to a special world deep within his heart, filled with melancholy reflections highlighted by moments of skylight and optimism. The album in its entirety is ultimately mellow, concealing a certain magnitude of emotion that is expressed here with such beautiful subtlety.

The title, Tu Me Manques, is the French translation of "You are missed," the objective version of the subjective English "I miss you." The album comes at a time when the artist has lost much of what he once knew and loved. The passing away of loved ones within the family, a separation with a romantic interest, precious time spent with his infant child. With few words, Sax sends a final letter of love to these pieces of his past.
