ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Mozart year 2006 was occasion enough for the Austrian saxophone quartet "SAXOFOUR" to arrange pieces, arias and themes of the composer in their proven special diverse saxofoury way. This is the second encounter with Mozart since 1991 (yes, that's right- That's how long this
saxophonesoundspaceshipcaptainconnectionorganization!) The perhaps from above inspired melodies from Wolfgang Amadé get new clothes: captivating rhythms, and original colored harmonies born in the heads of the four composaxophonists. Melodies of the master from Salzburg are certainly conveyed through improvisation inflamed humor in a one-of-a-kind hearing experience. Maybe master Mozart is dancing in heaven ... enjoying the greetings from the year 2006.
