2005 & 2006--
Learning technique from world-renowned teacher, Leonard Richter. Preparing for Local, Regional, and State Classical Competitions, and participating in the American Guild of Organists (AGO). Preparing for college in music. Scott has written many songs during this period but as yet to publish. Ask him and he may write one for your movie, musical, or whatever!

21st--Evening Wedding Reception at Sundance Grill.

July 2004--
16th--"Summer Concerts-Up & Coming Stars" in West Richland's Flat Top Park.

19th--Performing live at 6 p.m. at the Grand Ball Opening of the new 50,000 sq. ft. Kennewick, Three-Rivers Convention Center.
13-19th--"Young Musicians' Summer Festival."
1st--Mrs. Haler's Retirement Party (My Teacher).

May 2004--
22nd--Tri-Cities Cancer Center, Saturday, 12 - 3 p.m.

16th--Accepted as Education/Competition Coordinator-Columbia Basin American Guild of Organists
15th--Boy Scouts of America, Silver Beaver Award Dinner, Columbia Point Marriott, Saturday, 1 p.m. Scott is an Eagle Scout too!
13th--Mid-Columbia Small Business Award Banquet, Pasco Red Lion, Thursday, 6 p.m.
10th--Attended THE BEST! Stephen Beus' farewell concert at Whitman College, 7 p.m.
9th--Mother's Day Dinner for Elderly and Handicapped, 3 p.m.
9th-14th--Congrats to Young Musician Musicfest Northwest Festival winners in Spokane. Attended Brother and Sister's recitals. Played for church and hospital functions.

April 2004--
16th--Boys and Girls Club Dinner with Deidra McCollum on Flute, 6 p.m. at school near Pasco's Edgar Brown Stadium.
8th--KNDU TV Morning Show w/Aaron Booker, 5-6 a.m. LIVE interview follow-up to January's "Piano on the Moon" concert.
2nd--Wedding Reception @Jadwin LDS Chapel for John (see below) and Sara Spencer, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Organ and piano for church and hospital functions.

March 2004--
26th--Attended Tony Padilla & James Lent Music for Two Pianos Concert.
20th--Attended Stephen Beus Concert with Mid-Columbia Symphony.
4th--Entertained BYU Ballet Team during pre-performance dinner.
Focused on classical technique w/Dr. Richter.
Broke 3000 web hits (this site) and surpassed 150 CD sales "Piano on the Moon."
Organ and piano for church and hospital functions.

February 2004--
24th--United Way Annual Dinner, Red Lion Inn Pasco, 6 p.m.
23rd-27th--Congrats to Music Teacher's Association winners.
20th--Stephen Beus' Whitman College Recital.
3rd--Benton REA, Kiwanis Club Meeting, West Richland, 7 a.m.
1st--Tri-City Herald reported that Scott donated $900 to his high school band.

January 2004--
30th--Attended 44th Annual Young Artist Competition
30th--Attended Stephen Beus' Whitman College Recital (truly awesome!).
29th--Rotary Club Lunch Function, Red Lion Inn Kennewick.
26th--Honored at PTA Reflections Program (2nd & 3rd at Districts).
24th--Article "Youth does a nice thing" in the worldwide LDS Church News.
19th--Began with Leonard Richter, award-winning teacher.
10th--BIG Jan. 10th, Saturday evening, 7 p.m. concert at the Richland HS Auditorium
(even in bad weather 252 attended). More concert prep: Franny White's news story
in the Tri-City Herald, Tami Tremblay's news story on KVEW TV, Matt's news story
on KNDU TV, and announcements on several radio stations!

November 2003--Concerts/events (solo, duet, & accompaniment) at Battelle Auditorium--recital (last to play), The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints--various, CUP Church--Ribbon Festival, and Kadlec Hospital.

2002 & 2003--Performed at talent shows, hospital, church events, etc. The purchase of an electronic portable Grand Piano and a high-end sound card gave Scott the ability to begin storing all the music that was in his head. He wrote 10+ songs during the 2003 summer break. He finished writing Scott's Song--his first published piece--when he was 12.
