Seazon of the Fly

by Seazon of the Fly

A refreshingly different take on dark melodic tunes. In the Vain of A Perfect Circle and Alice in Chains, but done on acoustic instruments and tribal sounding drums. There are also hints of Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd in the way the arangments play out.
Genre: Rock: Grunge

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
We're actually a hard rock band, but we had these cool acoustic tunes, and the gear to record them. So we recorded our debut cd in Dec 2004 for a 2005 realease, at our dump known as "the fly trap". We got this old house about a year ago and turned it into our jam space/studio. Then we really focused on writing. We've been together with this current line-up since Sept 2002. But we couldn't quite pull everything together for various reasons. But now we're ready to lose the webs that hold us down. We have plans to release an actual "Hard Rock" album sometime in 2006. After that, maybe some more rockoustic? Also check out our debut music video for the song Eyes on our web site at seazonofthefly.com.

Very Different! Very Cool!
I've never heard anything like it, but it seemed familiar at the same time. I had the tunes in my head the entire day after hearing it. Great album!
