ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Nothing is Real" is the first CD to be released by Secret Skwirl. These guys manage to pay homage to their favorite recording artists and songs from the late '60's and early '70's; while at the same time sounding fresh and new. The songs on "Nothing is Real" explore both the power and frailty of the human condition. Underneath the heavy guitars, big drums and giant vocal hooks, you'll find lyrically thought provoking questions and messages; mixed with horns, strings, keyboards, acoustic guitars and huge vocal harmonies. "Fragile" will keep you on the razor's edge of raw emotion, while songs like "Jeez Louise" and "Deep Purple" dare you to wrap your mind around what is and what could be.
Recorded in Los Angeles, California and Paris, France, this this first effort from the mysterious Secret Skwirl is like a roller coaster ride from the past to the present. Hold on tight and enjoy the ride.
