ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
A New Home, is the second of 3 concept albums that explore the universe of a villain. Dropped into a world created by Vile Venomous, void of sunlight and feminine energy, the album reveals an eternal struggle for understanding. Featuring 3 characters (voiced by Dan Al, Kswiss, and the Roach King) The Cat, The Rat, and The Dog are nameless entities committed to their individual agendas. The exploration of each animal unveils truths of each viewpoint, which is ultimately held up to the light in the moment Vile Venomous delivers the seemingly final statements, before resetting all time.

The result is a neverending story, in which the details remain the same, but each listen reveals a new opinion.

"This particular work has taken form in a different sense than Am I Arthur Lan? While on the surface it is a cartoon from the mind of Vile Venomous, deeper issues seem to have wedged themselves inside. Each character awaits that beam of light, which is only present in fragments and reflections." Dan Al adds, "I'd like to impose a little bit of that light, but I think there is some glimmer of truth in he way these characters are constantly pursuing this great change that may or may not happen. There is a little of each character in everyone I've encountered, so there must be something real about these figments of imagination."

All music and lyrics were collaboratively written, performed, arranged, mixed, mastered by Secret Villains.
