Album Notes
Seung-Hee is a Korean-born, NYC based jazz vocalist and composer. She has studied and performed in the East Coast and South Korea with American jazz greats such as Jerry Bergonzi, George Garzone, Dominique Eade, Ran Blake and John McNeil to name a few, while receiving notable reviews such as 'a unique voice' by the Boston Globe and 'a pioneer in jazz voice' by MMJAZZ, the most renowned Korean jazz magazine among many. She will be celebrating the release of her new album 'WAITING' by SoRieN Productions with her quintet performing her original compositions and arrangements of others in Korean as well as in English infused with contemporary jazz and her Korean heritage.
