Emerging from the town of Arendal in Norway back in 2007, the quintet recorded their first material with producer Baard Torstensen of rap-metal legends Clawfinger. The result was a four-track demo called "Equilibrium".
The band got their first major gig in 2009, warming up for the iconic Satyricon in their hometown. In 2010 they played the Camp Stage at the Hove Festival 2010, and were invited back in 2011 to share the Amphitheatre stage with bands like Protest the Hero and Architects.
In 2012 they released their debut album "Tzolk'in" in the label Hellish Records.
The sound of Seventh has gone through several changes since their beginning in 2007; from grudgy death metal to a more melodic death/thrash.
Seventh disbanded in 2014.
