ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Shades of Fiction, formed in 2002 from the demise of nationally and locally recognized bands such as Island/Def Jam recording artists Relative Ash, followed by Crash Poet and Red River. Shades of Fiction bring beautifully spawned creative elements together to forge a sonic release of music that engulfs listeners instantly. Everything started when John Salazar, Brian Kowalski and Mike Tate, three likeminded individuals bred for music and the stage chanceably linked up with old friend and vocalist Picasso Dular.

Mick

Very well written. Very fresh sound!
This is one of those CDs that after you get it and put it in your CD player, you feel good about what you spent your money on. This CD offers a refreshing sound with a lot of groove and emotion. If you like good music, check out this CD!

rocks
got the cd off this site & i love it! but Shades Of Fiction is the best.....

Hiller

A lot better then I expected
The cd itself is very well composed. I have been to a few SoF shows and the quality on the cd is amazing . They reworked alot of the sound i was used to in the studio. I think the intro to track 11 is the only thing i didnt like about the cd. I usually found myself fast forwarding that tracks about 20 seconds on my IPOD. other then that i like the cd. keep up the work

COP

Amazin' Disc
Saw them at the Beat Kitchen Chicago,IL so had to pick up the disc. Even Better than I expected. It's hard and melodious at the same time. A Must listen.

Thruth be told, Shades of Fiction is an up & coming band. I bought a copy @ there cd release show, & now i got all my people hooked. One thing is certain, there lyric's have so much true feeling behind them. Creativity is Shades. My # 1 choice is That's why i need her/Nurse with amnesia, it's hard 2 decide, when the whole album rock's.......

Oooooohhhhh-eeeeeeeeeee
Just listen 2 the drum solo, can't freakin' get enough. Also the lead singer know's how 2 put on a show.....

L. Hickenbottom

Absolutely incredible, original sound.
I love this cd almost as much as oxygen. It'll be really refreshing to your ears if you're sick of hearing (and avoiding) all those bands writing the same songs and giving them different names. Even if it's not your favorite, every song on Shades' cd has something to appreciate. Just awesome, left and right.

Great melodic hard rock
Awesome disk, flows nicely, Picasso you're a J-Town Legend!
