Album Notes
The Shambles Band is a 3-piece original Rock band known for their high energy and skilled musicianship. Their catchy hooks and crunchy guitars make their songs instantly recognizable and memorable. Main songwriters Dave Rehm and Tony Biamonte wear their influences on their sleeves as hints and traces of their favorite artists ( The Rolling Stones, The Who, Blackfoot, ZZ Top, Hendrix, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Deep Purple to name a few) can be heard in the music they've created.
2005 saw the release of the self-titled Shambles CD featuring audience favorites “Whiskey Lipstick”, “Sister Voodoo” and “Hard Way To Rock”. In fact, it was the song “Hard Way To Rock” that first got the Shambles on air, as Philadelphia's 94.1FM WYSP was began playing it in November 2005.
2007 brought the release of "Dark Side Of The Lawn" a more diverse set of songs featuring new members Pat Rehm (Dave's brother) and Jesse Ruth.
A new batch of songs is recorded and mixed for release in 2013. The Shambles Band is now back to a trio (Biamonte, Rehm and Ruth), but ambitious as ever with a set of songs that you'd swear it took a 5 or 6 man ensemble to record.
Also in 2013 look for music by DDT and Aerial, bands that featured Biamonte and Rehm in the early 1990's as that catalog was recently converted from analog to digital and should be released sometime in 2013!
