Biography

West Coast Rap artist Shan Dogg, born Shannon Clark on December 8Th was raised in San Diego, California; Shan Dogg begin rapping in Junior High School mostly just freestyle for friends and at Neighborhood parties. Shan began to take rap seriously in 1997 with the help of Wicked One and Steve Vicious (VMF); two San Diego legends, who taught Shan to put freestyle into verses and form complete songs. Shan Dogg released his first solo album (Don’t hate the player hate the game) in 1999, and has released a total of five solo albums since. Shan Dogg is a versatile artist that writes about his personal experiences, from relationships to serious neighborhood topics to just having fun music. Shan has been featured on many other artist albums, as well as a variety of mix tapes.
Shan Dogg is now ready to take his career to the next level and make his mark in Hip Hop, and with each new project he continues to learn and grow and is transforming into a well rounded artist, soon to be one of the greats in Hip Hop.
