ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Shannon Whitworth currently lives in the mountains of western North Carolina, where she has spent the last ten years focusing on mountain, bluegrass and country music. No Expectations
Shannon just has great music. I saw her for the second time weekend of Jan 31 09. This album is just s sample of her talents. Getting this one to send to a friend. Great blend of music and such an amazing voice.

No Expections
A great solo release by a young lady with a stunning and unique voice. Her songs have an
almost haunting quality much like EmmyLou Harris.
Her songs are very unique (a real positive!) in thta they offer a bit of country, bluegrass, american folk and acoustic music - this inique blend of music complemented by a wonderful voice
makes for a STRONG and successful CD by an up and coming artist who is now free to demonstrate her
unique talents on her own. Her previous efforts with the Biscuit Burners did not truly allow for her talents and voice to indeed be showcased as they are now!A great effort from a wonderful, beautiful and talented artist! We wait for more
as she continues her march down the bluegrass road
(as well as other roads)!

Mesmerizing
You have to hear this completely amazing beautiful mesmerizing voice...I saw Shannon live at her CD release at The Station Inn in Nashville, and she was unbelievably brilliant. Her voice is just completely original. This is the first of many CDs to come...

What a beautiful voice...very rich and full of expression. The songwriting is great and I love the roots music instrumentation. This album is very accessible and will attract fans of many genres.

Like a wild, red, mountain lily Shannon's songs are both beautiful and captivati
I loved Shannon's sound with the Biscuit Burners and there is no let down on her latest CD project. Her lyrics speak thruths, the instrumentation is exquisite, and her vocals are one of a kind. The only regret you'll have when you buy this CD is that you'll have to wait for the next one to get more of her songs. Buy it, you can't go wrong!!

No Expectations
My husband and I knew Shannon when she was a high school classmate of our son. What a wonderful discovery to learn that she has such an amazing talent. We absolutely LOVE this CD and look forward to the next one, and to hopefully seeing her on tour.

Excellent vocals and arrangments--I'd suggest that Shannon include Dylan's " I'll Be Your Baby Tonight" on the next album--stellar performer
