Album Notes
Shaquil 'STAR' Rashad is blessed with talent as a songwriter, singer, and producer, and has a style that is best described as 'cosmic soul'. His music envokes elements reminiscent of legends like Marvin Gaye, Prince, and Isaac Hayes. His vocals, his lyrics, and his music blend into a signature sound that is unique and relevant in urban music today. His new CD "The Legend Of Lucky Lamar" contains songs from the heart, for the soul and mind, as well as an afrodisiac for the grown & sexy. The time has come for the next level in soul/r&b music, and STAR is ready to shine his light on all who are open to receive.

a hot one!
lotta variety--nice Marvin-influenced grooves, some sexy bangers, even tracks you want to play loud and ride's just a good soul CD! It's been a while since I've heard this kind of music, but it's new at the same time. I keep "Set it Out" and "Sunstone" on repeat.

Great from beginning to end!
This is exactly what the music industry needs. Great beats, lyrics and message. Love that "Set it Our"
