ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Over a period of two years John Saich and Mags Russell of Wild Biscuit have arranged seven of my tracks. The songs have been ‘out there’ before but they have now all been brought together for this EP which has been mastered by CaVa Sound of Glasgow with the involvement of Brian Young, Brian McNeill and Geoff Allan

The Doris Lessing song was written in Glasgow but the words about getting home from work on a cold wet winter night could be from anywhere. The other songs belong on Haida Gwaii a place which has had an immense influence on my life and which continues to evoke in me a deep affection

arctic tern

beautiful cd
these 6 songs-and a poem-already available but not previously grouped together, and which the writer wishes to be heard as a whole, provide the listener with a rich experience steeped in the writer's usual blend of simple but evocative words, striking visual imagery and lovely, haunting music.
