ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I was born in the mountains of eastern Kentucky to Elmer and Irene ( Hackworth) Slone, The oldest of twelve sibling. My husband Lloyd and I moved to north to Ohio away from our beloved mountains to seek work to support and raise our family. This album is also dedicated to those folks who have had to decide between their home land and employment opportunities else where. We must never let our circumstances in life get in the way of our memories of home.
This collection of songs were all inspired by actual events in our lives, some good, sometimes not so good.
I would like to thank my family, friends here in Ohio, and Kentucky and new friends I will be making in the future Thank you all so much.
Especially Lloyd, Becky, Tee, Colby, Kindsey, Michaela, and Savanna

The Cd is the greatest i have listened to it for about 10 years now and it is still one of my favorites. I still love the words to all the songs.
