ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
After a prosperous career as a sideman for many great artists in both Japan and The United States Shota Osabe decided to take center stage and release a CD of his fovorite songs. This is Shota's first solo artist release and features the late Ray Brown on bass and Harold Jones on drums. This Cd boasts 14 classic standards performed with his own distictive style. Another noteworthy point is this CD was recorded at the world famous Capitol Studios in Hollywood Ca. and mixed by the 19 time Grammy winner Al Schmitt.
