Album Notes
After toiling in their home studio for nearly two years, Shrink the Giant presents their all original, twelve song debut album.

Shrink the Giant primarily consists of two musicians, Stefania Barr and Aaron Hurt, with their band manager, Jean-Marc Barr. Together they create diverse and intriguing musical ideas, poetic lyrics, and altogether, a product which is difficult to compare to others.

Stefania is the lead vocalist. She writes synthesizer/keyboard/piano parts. She also plays the guitar, bass, and toys, writes lyrics, and adds rhythmic ideas. She has played classical piano since the age of four, and continues to add new instruments and genres to her repertoire.

Aaron is the lead guitarist, bassist, and drummer, and contributes keyboard parts, and lyrics. He is a self taught bassist, who then took a greater interest in guitar. Aaron's musical background has been primarily metal/alternative.

Jean-Marc acted as creator of the "Shrink the Giant project," and helps write lyrics, design, engineer, and master songs. He also runs the business side of things.

The trio records and engineers their own music.

I love this cd. I would like to buy it, just got to convince the folks (ya know). I was really surprised to not see any reviews yet.

This album gets better and better the more you listen!
I really love to listen to this album while I'm running or driving. There is so much diversity and it reaches across genres, yet the quality of the music continues on. For a first album, this band really keeps it fresh. You won't get tired of this album after two listens. You'll actually have this for a favorite for a long time.

Sounds like fresh air in music!
If even a black and death metal guy like me likes this fresh album it HAS to be good! Affectionate arrangements, great melodies and a even greater female voice make this album so much more than just a CD of an completeley independent band. It is showing that the cliché of "the awfully sounding garage band" can be wrong!
