ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Silvan Zingg is called the "ambassador of boogie woogie". The swiss professional pianist presents his new CD.
During his early schooltime, influenced by records of black Boogie Woogie masters Silvan Zingg began to play by himself the piano. When he was seventeen he officially appeared in the programm of the Blues Festival in Lugano as the youngest musician that have ever performed at this event.
Entertaining the enthusiastic public, he seemed to be able to easely convince his listeners about his feeling for this music and about his sensational interpretation of the Blues. Similary, he showed his ability to play Boogie Woogie and his personal touch with the piano. His favourite styles are mostly classic Boogie Woogie, Blues and Jazz with variations from all kind of different musical waves. Silvan is today one of the most requested piano entertainer in his country at appears and performs at many important events and festivals.
Since Silvan Zingg was eighteen, when he recorded his first CD, he realesed eight CD's.

Silvan Zingg and his Trio have been knowing each other for some years. They held their first apparition in common at the graduation party of the school where they had studied together. During the past years, they have been performing in concerts together at major venues in Switzerland, Europe and foreign countries. The music flows in Silvan's and his music pals blood. They demonstrate it with their joy to play, with their brilliant tecniques and fantasyfull setup at their concerts; no matter if on a small private occasions or on big festivals. They both know how to attract a great audience playing openly, precisely their colourful variations of tunes. Their unmistakeable features are an uncomplicated young-look and a huge amount of pleasure to play music.

Thanks for the memories
Thanks for the memories. Boogie is a lost art, I really feel for the young people today who have not had the ezposure to this kind of upbeat wonderful music. Silvan Zingg is a master at Boogie. I hope he keeps doing more, Thanks Silvan for making my life brighter with your boogie, jive & jazz.
