ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Silverfish:

The rockband who describe their self as one of the best “live” band in Sweden. They made a remarkable tour with this debut album “Feel The Change” 2004 on the Swedish underground stages.

Most people describe there music like melodic stoner, with Pantera influence and a James Hatfield voice. The five boys in the band will rather say they are playing, guitarbased heavy groove rock whit very melodic voice.

This 12 track CD is their debut album. The songs are more aggressive and the sound is rawer than their follow-up, "Silverfish V/S Streetfight Fighters"

Great record!
I cant believe I have not heard of these guys before now. They have been around since 03 and its 07 now. Unbelievably amazing band!!!!

It´s a perfect mix of Metal, Stoner and Grunge.

It starts with "Feel the change" the title track.
The guitars pumping out a great riff, and the melancholic vocal get your thoughts back to early Alice in Chains.

Need it´s a really painkiller song. Good speed through the whole song and a great solo releases the pain.

My hands it´s a great song to make out with your lady. And in to the second verse the guys create a perfect dynamic, when letting the bass play alone with only the drums.

Song four "Leave me alone"
I heard that the they had made a video to this, but i haven´t found it yet. But I´m exited and look forward to see it.

Deny it´s one of my real favorite song, i cant describe it you must hear it!

Red Eye, it´s a cool riff, and a special drum play. And the chorus is very aggressive.

What? is probably the strangest song on the record. But in a good way. It starts with a ska-influenced riff, with up-tempo beat and vocals. But just into the pre-chorus when the drums totally flips out. It´s pretty cool!

How long, is not just the cool lyrics about driving your car in anger until your happy again.
Whats distinguish the song it´s the funky, slapping bass riff thats goes through the song.

Stoned is probably the weakest song on this album.
But it´s still a great song. It has good speed in it and a really brutal vocals, and the guitars screaming in the big riff´s.

Track number 10 "The way I want" is a tricky one.
Cant say more you must listen to understand.

Loaded takes me back to the grunge era, and it´s the most punk rocking song on the record.

Track 12 "On your side" it´s one of the best songs ever made! I got the vibes of Foo Fighters, early Pearl jam, and Stone Temple Pilots. The singer has a totally perfect voice for the song, and the dynamics in the song is just perfect.
It´s a great ending of the record!

I can really recommend this record.
