Album Notes
Like the Phoenix reborn from the ashes, Silver Side has emerged as a recognizable force in a smoldering scene under the shadow of a giant. Since the release of their debut album “Trail Of Stones” in August 2006, Silver Side’s following has grown at an impressive rate. This growth has moved Silver Side from a strong local act to a climbing regional success. The band's solid sound, hard work ethic, genuine appreciation for fans and opportunity has made its mark.

Good Solid Metal
Excellent metal band with driving force, powerful melodic vocals and a touch of progressive. Definately one of the few where the sum of the effect of their music transcends its individual parts. Talented musicains. Professional recording.

sam motherfucking show

absolutely incredible
the music speaks for itself. terry's thunderous drumming is as if the mighty thor himself had a thousand arms and a giant hammer for each one. smitty's chunky bass lines shake the body to its very core, while kris's guitar slashing cuts like a chainsaw then pulls back with refined fingerwork on rosewood. then there's dr. manticore... his wide vocal range covers the most gutteral of growls to eloquent operatic stylings, with hints of influence from great bands such as alice in chains, queensryche, pantera, and manowar. this quartet is one to be reckoned with. thier live show (along with the bruce) is a testament to thier dedication as a performing act who's studio work is an extension of thier on-stage shows. enough words already... buy the damn cd!

These guys are no joke!!!
YOU HAVE TO CHECK THESE GUYS OUT!I checked them out a couple of days ago when I was cruisin around cd baby as a lot of us do. I listened to their samples and read their bio and thought why not, It's only 10 bones. I am glad I did, Silver Side's sound is straight wicked. I love this s**t! I can't wait for them to come around my block. I am definitley there.
Keep Rockin gentlemen.

If anyone ever gets a chance to see them live do it. They are great performers and sounds great live.

rock out!
This cd rocks. I like the transitions from hard to easy, then hard all over again. Im not a huge fan of hard rock, but these guys got me thinking twice about this kinda music. I love the vocals cuz they are so unique and different from what you always hear on the radio. Its really good. Check em out!

This album is amazing
A friend of mine told me about a band out of San Diego called Silver Side that he was really into. He let me borrow his CD to have a listen for myself. I put the CD in my car about 2 weeks ago and it hasnt left the CD player since. This album is amazing. The quality (for an independant release) is unbelievable and falls in same catagory (as far as quality goes) with all the major lable guys. Silver Side is the next best thing in music as far as I am concerned. They are extremely versatile. Each song has its own feel and uniquness. There are no two songs alike, yet there is still a nice balance and cohesiveness to the album that just keeps me listening over and over again. Unlike many bands out there, Silver Side sticks to what makes music good. No gimmicks, no trendy (over produced) riffs. Just straight out hard rock with the likeness of Alice in Chains, Disturbed, Danzig, and Soundgarden. Seriously, if you want an album and a band that pushes and leads the way in a new sound for metal/hardrock, these guys are it.

Warning: CD Will Stay In Your Car For Weeks!
This is the kind of CD from yesteryear, that would stay in your car player for weeks on end, because the songs are just that great. Even when I take it out, I find myself putting it right back where it belongs, because it rocks hard. The fact that it is only eight songs means one thing: No Filler. At the same time it leaves you waiting for the next release...
