Album Notes
In 2010 Camilla Bakke and Diana Andrén Scarpati started working together on songs Camilla had written: It started with a simple arrangment of Evolution, for piano and viola. This was recorded in collaboration with Martin Eisenberg, and released it on Myspace in June 2010.

After that Camilla and Diana started to rehearse with Martin Aakervik (bas), and Claes Svensson (drums), and thus a band was formed, but there has been several shifts in members since then. This period they also did their first live performances. In august 2011 the band had their first concert at the pub "Mitt andra hem" with many of the songs from the debut album. After that there were more gigs, some recordings, and in spring 2012 the band joined a local music competition in Gothenburg, GP scen, where they came to the finals with the song I´m running. Since they were number one in the pre-webvoting most of the time, they got some media attention both in Sweden and in Norway (Camillas home country), and some plays in the radio. They have got fine words and reviews for among other things: originality, atmosphere, an interesting duality between Camilla and Diana, and quality songwriting. In 2013 they started recording this album. The album is produced by Camilla and Cezary Dubicki (bas player since 2013). More information on Camillas blog, just google simonesaysband.

Simone Says Band:

Camilla Bakke on piano and lead vocals. She has been playing the keys in both biker clubs and churches, directing choirs, giving pianolessons, but mostly doing a lot of other things, like taking a highter university degree in languages, travelling and gaining life experience, before starting this project. Camilla is the band leader and co-producer of the album. She has written all songs at the album, exept track 11, that is written by Martin Eisenberg.

Diana Andrén Scarpati on viola and backing vocals. Original member and co-starter of the band. Diana has played classical symphonic music, and in several bands, now with: The New String Theory, Alpaca Sports, Roman Andrén. She has been recording albums in all of these constellations.

Guitarrist Stefan Petersson works as a music teacher, and has played in different bands and constellations, now in Simone Says and a band playing irish music. He has been playing in Simone Says since 2011, and plays on all tracks exept number 2 (where Thomas Fridnér plays).

Cezary Dubicki plays electric and acoustic bas. He has been studying music in Poland , and played in plenty of different constellations: jazz, folk, classic, pop and rock. Parallel with the music studies he took the degree of engeneer. Since he started in the band he has built up a well equipped home recording studio and has coproduced the album with Camilla.
The former bas player Roland Nyman plays on tracks 6, 10 and 11.

There has been a lot of shifts in drummers, but since august 2013 Anders Johansson plays in the band. He has a music degree at Musikhögskolan in Gothenburg, and have been playing jazz, pop, funk, soul, classical and brazilian music. He works as a drum teacher and freelance musician. He has played on tracks 2, 4, 6, 11 at the album. Martin Folkelind plays on the tracks at the album 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 10.
