Album Notes
SIMON FISK

“Canadian Bassist Simon Fisk is in the top rung of jazz bass players.
Why is this guy not huge? Buy some of his records and spread the word.” Mike Wood musicemissions.com

“This is one of the most beautifully crafted Jazz CD\'s I have had the pleasure of receiving for some time. The musicians who feature on this work are among the most talented in their field. Their superb arrangements and beautiful phrasing combine to present a stylish contemporary recording that is gold class. I long to hear more from this band and will feature tracks from this glorious recording on my national jazz program \"A Jazz Hour\" which is heard nationally each week across Australia via the CBAA network.” Barry O\'Sullivan-Producer/Presenter A Jazz Hour

“Simply superlative. World class. I\'ll place this on the good-stuff CD shelf right next to Ron Carter and Buster Williams. Sweet, soulful and spellbinding. When you play New York, let me know.”

This is very exciting stuff. This is one of those jazz groups that grabs you from the first couple of bars and then holds you enthralled to the very last track. A great addition to any music program and a must for your Christmas list.
Just sample "Don't Throw Stones" and "Where Did You Go" and you will be hooked. Carole Hayes "All the Best" heard on Shoalhaven Radio Nowra, Australia
