ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
After losing many guitar picks, snapping strings, and playing countless amount of shows for their small community, the Dayton, Ohio based alternative/punk band Singed made a buzz all over their home state when they were added to Rockstar Energy Drink sponsored tour Taste of Chaos in Milwaukee, WI. This led to the band becoming the #1 punk band in all of Ohio on Myspace under the indie band charts category for most of the early months in 2008. Clothing companies such as Black Sea Apparrel and Burning Hollywood Romance took notice of Singed's recent success and became sponsors. One of the largest online communities for punk, metal, and alternative music, Absolutepunk.net also took notice and mentioned the band on their site as Taste of Chaos in Milwaukee, WI neared.

Their first two singles, 'Taking Off To Vegas' and 'We're Better Off In Separate Time Zones' became hits on the web as well as on Apple iTunes music store. With their fast, ADHD behaved drumming to their metal influenced guitar riffs, Singed crafted a unique punk sound with infectious melodic hooks.

The band's first recording experience came when they drove all the way to New York's Chameleon West Recording Studio in 2005. They released 'The Day After E.P.' and then headed back into the studio in the summer of 2007 with producer Josh Hamilton. Singed was then added to Effort Music Group's management and small label roster. In October 2007, the bands debut full length album, 'Tonight, We Take Over The World' was released with a very small budget, but a heavy following occurred in their home town. In support of the album, Singed has toured through out the east and the mid-west region of the country. The band plans to continue touring through out the summer of 2008 with Never Say Forever on The Shake It 2008 Tour.

Good
This album is good considering they're from a small town in Ohio. The best song is 'We're Better Off In Seperate Time Zones'. It's really catchy and so is 'Taking Off To Vegas'!!!!! I think it's worth $8.99 for the album on MP3, considering it's going to be $9.99 on iTunes (worse quality)
