Twenty Something Winters

by SitDownTracy

Album Notes
Twenty Something Winters is an independently produced collection of modern compositions, blending the quirks and quarks of Canadian pop with the timeless qualities of rock, jazz, and roots music. This supercollision of styles, complemented by the band's ever-growing landscape of instrumentation and their love of harmonized vocals and hand claps, has created an earnest sound that is both fresh and familiar.

Math + Sax + Boy/Girl Vocals = Awesome
Its pretty, its different, it at first reminded me of Pinback and Death Cab, but on further listen is closer to Sea and Cake/Chicago Post Rock poured through a Canadian Indie Pop Vase of nice flowers. Buy it for your ex who you are on good terms with, that is what I'm going to do (she loves this kind of stuff).
