Since their initial formation in 1995, during the darkest times for traditional metal, they followed their
mission to spread the word that real metal was still alive. From 1998 to 2001 they hit the scene like a
hammer with their three raging albums, which got SKULLVIEW rightfully be labelled as the saviours
of traditional, yet wild and extrovertet power metal. Out of the sudden there was silence for quite a few
years, at least regarding new music from the guys.
And once again quite suddenly in 2010 our heroes felt it was time to strike back with a furious eruption
in eight acts named „Metalkill the world“, having just reached another peak of their creativity. Eight
Songs, all of them pulling the same rope, can be enjoyed on the band’s fourth effort and prove to be a
primal force of raging, yet catchy and memorable riff structures, razor sharp leads that get fused with
haunting melodies, fiery beats, similar to a stormy sea whipped by a thunderstorm and this voluminous
voice of Mike Quimby, the true face of SKULLVIEW, giving a new meaning to the term „air raid siren.
This band literally brands their enthralling compositions into the souls of each headbanger who has a
sense for the essential aspects of this music.
It is not without reason that PURE STEEL RECORDS got this band to be part of their family rich on
creative power, to become blessed with even more burning passion, unlimited inspiration and unbreakable
