Album Notes
Sky Pilot is what every fan of "local" music has been craving. This is that group that combines the sounds of a band you think you've already heard on the radio, with lyrics and styles that you know you've never heard before. Sky Pilot is that band that after hearing hoards of local rappers and rock acts that do the same thing over and over again, restore your faith in up and coming music.

From the inside out, this band is different than what you think you know about the "local" scene. Preston is on a planet all his own, and we're just visiting. From his humble beginnings in choir to his other attempts at bands, he carries everything with him. It's sometimes hard to tell if he carries it with him in his heart or on his shoulders, but when you see him on stage it's like he has something to prove to everyone watching, and by the end of the night, he does. Brian is the quiet leader, though, and withe every show you can see in his eyes before the set that he knows, "this is my baby." Kyle feels it too as he mans his station, however, his choir background and the fact that he co-founded Cold Clock Productions with Brian takes over.

At the first beat of the drum all the butterflies disappear as these 3 kings of their own craft do what they do best. If Sky Pilot comes to your town, do yourself a favor and go see them.
