Album Notes
Formed from an eruption of the molten discontent that flows beneath our sedated culture, the mighty trio known as Slowhawk whips like a downed power line; lurching with furious abandon while displaying compelling grace. Their unique brand of heavy elasticity and tenacious assault has been captured on record with the release of "The Island Of", a tapestry of modern textures and subtle melodies supporting lyrics that give voice to the rage which is simmering in the cracks of a splintered society. A rage that our so called leaders have failed to acknowledge. There is no time like the present for this band to be heard.
Slowhawk is:
Jarred Decker (guitar, vocals)
Matthew Violet (bass, vocals)
John Sparkman (drums)
