Amidst the frantic bass lines; unpredictable guitar licks; primo drum beats; and erratic song structures lies the strangest group of man children to ever record an album. SOCIAL RELAPSE is a group that has hints of not just spastic funk and erratic rock riffs; but an almost schizophrenic approach to song writing in general. With a large palette of musical influences it is hard to say exactly where they’re coming from, but it is definitely a strange path indeed.
Their debut album entitled “I Saved The Day And Everyone Took Their Pants Off!” was released in early 2009 and now “Live & Raw” is here for your listening pleasure. “Live & Raw” is a collection of live performances at The Never Ending Book Store in New Haven, CT; rehearsals; improvisational pieces; and interview with Joe “Big Papa” Sags on WPKN out of Bridgeport, CT.
When the boys aren’t out jamming or recording, they enjoy playing with Weeble Wobbles and listening to Art Garfunkel records while watching old movies to see if they sync up in a significant way.
