ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The success of So Long Forgotten has hinged on both their love of rock n roll and their fluency for originality. Not willing to be complacent with the current trend of up-and-coming bands - one in which many groups clone themselves to their predecessors to ensure popularity - So Long Forgotten emerged as a refreshing antidote, keen to the challenge of inspiring and enlightening fans through their particular brand of music. So Long Forgottens popularity is undoubtedly a result of their unique sound. Preferring not to be limited to any one structure, So Long Forgotten weaves in and around their widely diverse influences, all while remaining true to their rock n roll roots and familiarity in a way that is both original and bracing. Their sound is intense and driving in a way that removes the formulaic while remaining catchy and melodic. Awesome
Hey, I just wanted to say that this album was really good. I mean, I listen to some pretty heavy metal, and it's nice to be able to find a band to relax to once in a while. I really love the effort put into making such a relaxing album. Thanks guys for being so awesome!!

Greatness
This band is destined for greatness. The music is tasteful and the lyrics are moving. All together this CD has not left my CD player since I recieved it. With lyrics like "beneath our noble heads, we contain the heart of children, if only we could lose our heads". Genius I tell ya, Genius!

Sweet disc
Cool disc. Kind of like the new As Cities Burn or a bit like mewithoutYou.

Awesome
This CD is amazing. Melodic enough to listen to at any time, but with enough kick for when you want to rock out. Great music.

won't be forgotten for long...
Love this album. Saw these guys on tour with Spoken last fall and was instantly drawn into their sound. They remind me a bit of mewithoutYou, but with more melodic singing. The lyrics are poetic and honest. I love the medieval style album artwork as well...seems to be inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry.
