Album Notes
Soraiya studied opera, jazz and music production in Canada and the UK.

In 2002 she met guitarist Ant Law in Edinburgh, Scotland where they formed a successful jazz-rock fusion band called CHOP. It was during the next two years in the band that Soraiya and Ant discovered their incredible compatibility as composers.

"Find Me There" is the beautiful culmination of composition by post, email and phone. Between January and June 2007, Soraiya made a handful of trips from London to Edinburgh to record with Ant and several talented friends who appear as guest musicians on the album. It was during these sessions that the songs matured: string arrangements blossomed, solos took shape, and entirely new pieces were created.

Ant lives in London and is currently on tour in Europe.

Soraiya lives in California and, after a three year hiatus to study the law, is refocusing on her music again as of August 2012.

Find Me There
Breathtaking vocals and sweet serene melodies. The lyrics and emotions found within were so easy to identify with. Fabulous CD, I'm telling my friends! :)

Find Me There
Soraiya's voice is so pure; she demonstrates incredible range and maturity. The songs vary from uplifting and ethereal, even haunting, and this wonderful CD sounds better and better each time it is played.
