Album Notes
Soul Risin' released their debut CD, When The Bridges Begin To Burn, in 2007, and immediately received rave reviews by their hometown press and fans. "Syracuse bandmates in Soul Risin' share a big sound, hard and crisp on their debut CD. Bryan Weinsztok's voice and Jeff Pazer's lead guitar lead a compelling pace on these original songs... it's a fine thing as Weinsztok's voice hits you aside the head, melodic and tough all in one." - Syracuse Post-Standard.

The Observer-Dispatch (of Utica, NY) says of the band, "Soul Risin' creates an engaging blend of soul and rock that has the ability to put a sober man into a drunken stupor without a sip of alcohol. Gritty vocals, backed by furiously frenetic guitar riffs and pulsating beats, bring listeners into a world where you might find Joe Cocker, Dave Matthews and Bob Seger tipping back a six-pack on the back of a dusty pick-up truck between jam sessions under a hot August sun. Weinsztok's songwriting is ripe with emotion and drips with just enough heartache, patience and sorrow to drive the most removed lovers back into each other's arms."

This sound will blast you away!
Fat, dynamic southern style jam-rock in the spirit of Widespread Panic, Hatters, Allgood, Blues Traveler. The groove and the brilliant voice will give you some unforgettable hours. Listen to the first sample and you must have this unbelievable album. Southern jam-rock at its best.
