Album Notes
SOUNDCIRCLES formed in the sunny and always hot city of Miami in 2010 by guitarist Byron Lopez and guitarist/vocalist Diego Fernandez. Their undeniable love for space rock pioneers Pink Floyd, inspired both friends to form a tribute band to honor their psychedelic heroes. They invited longtime friend and bassist Javier Leguiza to join the project and after an extensive search to find two missing pieces to complete the circle, destiny - with a little help of Craigslist - provided drummer Daniel Bras and keyboardist Christian D. Spano who has played in various Miami local bands since the early 90's.

After performing a few gigs under the name of Eclipse, the band decided that it was time to start working on their own material and put the Floyd days behind.

They dropped the name Eclipse and Soundcircles was born. The band immediately started working on their debut EP titled “Upstream” with the help of their very charismatic friend, owner of the Shack Studios and front man of Hialeah’s prodigy sons Humbert, Mr. Ferny Coipel.

The group combined spacey and moody elements from bands like Travis, Radiohead, Interpol, Doves and Pink Floyd and infused them with their different personalities and ethnic backgrounds (Argentina, Nicaragua, Portugal and United States) rendering the result that is reflected on the EP. Soundcircles currently performs in Miami’s local scene.
