Album Notes
Sounds Of Noise is the brainchild of Eddie Angel Monroy (vocals/guitar), Paul Corley (vocals/bass), and Eric Zimmerman (drums). The three have created a sound so intense, devoted fans have dubbed it "the wall". Monroy's relentless guitar, Corley's unique basslines, and Zimmerman's strong ambient-flavored drumming style create a sound that's as shoegazey as is it grungy, with a little flicker of noise.

The band hails from the deep dark depths of Long Beach, Cali. Not to be confused with the Snoop Doggs and Sublimes of the world, Sounds Of Noise is a decidedly un-L.A. type of rock band. Raised on a steady diet bands like Sonic Youth, Sebadoh, and Fugazi, Corley believes the strength of their sound is derived from the varied styles they each bring to the table. Monroy, on the other hand, brings lots of flair to the ensemble, with an affinity for "bands creating psychedelic sounds with keyboards and moogs".
