Album Notes
A long time coming; English post hardcore band Sounds of Swami are finally ready to release their debut album through Manchester label TNSrecords. Their two EP's Vent (2008) and Halcyon Days (2009) received strong critical acclaim on the underground punk and rock circuit with many publications commending its alternative and progressive approach to punk. Reoccurring band comparisons include Fugazi, At The Drive-In and Drive Like Jehu. Their songs have also been included on international punk and rock compilations. Live accolades includes Festival appearances at Strummercamp, Nice N Sleazy and Beat Herder.

The long awaited debut album has already picked up impressive acclaim with none single tracks 'Grump' and 'Clandestine Movements' receiving national radio play on the BBC Radio One Punk Show and BCB Radio respectively. BBC Punk Show presenter Mike Davies remarked "I'll be playing them again. I dig it” The debut single from the album was 'Stitched Up at the Sewing Circle' which was released for free download and came with two non album b-sides. The band are currently in the studio finishing two other b-sides for the next planned single.
