ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The guys in Southern Alabama Pie Cookoff are not from Alabama at all...they are imposters. They can't even arrange a proper pie cooking competition. However, they ARE located in the south, in sunny Florida. They are also a hard playing old school punk/thrash band. In the spirit of Dead Kennedys, Bad Religion, and Propagandhi, their fierce political lyrics provide a soundtrack for the present as well as a prophetic voice. Take their song "Osama", written two years before Bin Laden's demise. While the subject matter is serious, the lyrics are delivered with a tongue-in-cheek sarcas. SAPCO is committed to sending a message of awakening to its listeners and fans.
