Album Notes
“Funny, honest, keyboard-driven pop from four under-21s with a cool sense of rhythm. Hurry Up and Thrill Me, their debut, is out soon.” XLR8R, Oct. 2008

“This ridiculously young, gritty Portland quartet is wise beyond its years.” Willamette Week, Sept. 2008

“Birthed in basements with a sound polished amid the sweet chaos of a summertime house party, Southern Belle represent the wide-eyed second shift of Portland’s music scene.” Portland Mercury, June 2008

“Chances are, if you’re only 17-20 years in on the young, up and coming Portland Music scene, You’ve heard of Southern Belle.” PDX Magazine,
April 2008

Southern Belle is:
Ross- guitar, vocals
Austin- keys, vocals
Nicole- bass, vocals
Max- drums

Southern Belle has played almost 40 shows since the band formed less then a year ago. They play mostly in houses, but have been able to play some main stages around town as well.
Such as:
Hawthorne Theatre, with Deerhunter
Roseland, with The Faint
Doug Fir, with Starfucker
Hawthorne Theatre, with Tilly and The Wall
Holocene, with Yatch
Hawthorne Theatre, with Jaguar Love
Modern Age, with Kickball

They even got a chance to take part in Music Fest North West this year, when they opened for Matt and Kim.

This Album is the result of months of good times at KBC Records. What producer Shay Scott does for these 4 is amazing.

Mastered by Carl Saff in Chicago, and Pressed by CD Forge in Portland.
The self-released, 17 track debut, Hurry Up and Thrill Me, and music video for ‘Sunnyside’ are out and ready!
