'Mountain King' is the fourth album by Space March and is a symphonic journey of retro-electro, classical and dream pop. Space March produced and mixed 'Mountain King', with mastering by German engineer, Robin Schmidt (OMD, Two Door Cinema Club).
The title track incorporates the melodic theme from “In The Hall Of The Mountain King” by Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg, written for the play, 'Peer Gynt'. Space March has reinvented this 137 year old melody into an unforgettable piece of vocal synthpop.
Space March fan favourites from 'Mountain King' include the tracks: “You Are Electric” (track 9), “Someone Something Sunshine” (track 2) and “Babylon” (track 3); with “Apple of My Eye” (track 7), “Sometimes” (track 8) and “Twee Song” (track 12) also being popular.
