Best known for his bass work with such Texas giants as The Sie Douglas Quintet, Texas Tornados and Roky Erikson, the consumate Texas sideman lays down his bass, picks up a guitar and lays down some true Texas rock & roll as it should be played. Recorded in one session in 1994, Sparks is backed by West Texas guitar legend John X. Reed, fellow Tornado, Ernie Durawa, the Leroi Bros' Mike Buck and 3 Balls of Fire's Mike Vernon.
