ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Spingere is mostly Will Cruttenden - bassist and vocalist for Oxford bands Soul Beaver and Bridge Street. ‘Perfetc’ is the following up to the more somber and experimental ‘Coffee-Housing’. Which isn’t to say ‘Perfetc’ doesn’t have it’s odd moments. The broken up melody line of ‘The Dreaded D’ and the ghostly noises of the title track mark it out as something different from the mainstream. But there are more obvious melodies here and, most significantly a common thread on all the tunes, which is Will’s playing of the Warr Guitar (sometimes known as a Touch Guitar).

Standout tracks include the live soundscape ‘Forest Walk’ and the monsterous closer Harmartia.
