Album Notes

Rotterdam’s trio ‘Springlights’ is the newest branch on the Dutch electronica tree. After an eighteen-month journey in the studio, their debut album: ‘Today Never Comes Again’ is ready to see the daylight. An enticing blend of soul, singer-songwriter and dubstep. Springlights leans towards post-dubstep, a musical stream full grown in England but still on the rise in the Netherlands. Springlights’ sound is both ominous and heart-warming. Light as well as dark and hefty.

Their first album features - Jeffrey Vonk (production), Etienne Harteloh (drums, guitar) and Anouk de Ruiter (vocals) - guests David Blom (guitar) and Sebastiaan van Bokkel (guitar). For two years Vonk and Harteloh worked together as a duo, joined by Anouk de Ruiter, Springlights is in full throttle.
