ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Working as a singer in the Boston area, Stacia Kraft is releasing her first jazz album, Midnight Sun. A graduate of the New England Conservatory, she followed her interest in classical art song to the Great American Song Book. A series of innovative recitals exploring art song and American styles led to this collection of jazz standards.

This CD is great, but hearing her live is even better!
Stacia's voice is smooth, sultry, and smoky, like a steaming cup of Lapsang Suchong Tea. Especially on Night & Day, listen carefully to the beginning. If you get the chance to see her live it is well worth it. This CD is the next best thing and Doug's piano accompaniment is a perfect match with her style.

Must have CD
Must have songs, delivered richly...

great song choices
Some of my favorite songs from the American Songbook sung with wonderful intonation by Stacia and accompanied with finesse by Doug on piano.

Suave sophistication, a must have
Stacia Kraft is singer's singer. This album draws you in from the first with exceptional line and the opulent, evocative sound of this wonderful voice. Stacia brings these great songs to life in a poetic and bold way. A must have.
