The new album "Shine" is a melodic rock gem and definitely another great step to showcase the songwriting and performing abilities of this great artist. Featured on the album is an amazing lineup featuring guitarist Tim Pierce (Rod Stewart, Phil Collins, Bon Jovi, Celine Dion, Bruce Springstein, Joe Cocker, etc.), bass player Matt Bissonette (David Lee Roth, Peter Frampton, Joe Satriani, Steve Perry, etc.), Curt Cuomo on keyboards, and drummer Kenny Aronoff (Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rolling Stones, Meatloaf, Celine Dion, Jon Bon Jovi, Rod Stewart, etc.), with former Boston and Airplay singer Tommy Funderburk helping out on background vocals. Stan also shot a video for the song "Falling" which is the highlight of the album and definitely a true melodic rock classic in the making! "Shine" is another true classic from one of the best loved artists on the scene today, and one that will surely promoted on the live circuit in the not too distant future.
Stan Bush recently released an album for BMG called "Capture the Dream". The album includes guest appearances on the album by members of Kiss. Stan won an Emmy award for a song from the album, called "Until I Was Loved By You". The category was Best Original Song. One of the other tracks from the album, "Capture the Dream" was featured in the 1996 Olympics on NBC in a special broadcast highlighting the success of the U.S. Swim Team, and was featured on NBC during the NBA playoffs. Also, Stan wrote a song, "The Touch" which appeared in the movie, "Boogie Nights".
As a vocalist, Stan has sung on many major albums (Alice Cooper, Jefferson Starship), movies, including Jean-Claude Van Damme's "Kickboxer" and "Bloodsport", Tina Turner's "What's Love Got To Do With It", and "Transformers: The Movie", in addition to singing many national commercials: Coors Beer, Toyota, Budweizer, Mazda, Hertz to name a few. Stan recorded a song called "Forever" released on CBS/Sony, with a video and an advertising campaign for Diamonds. "Forever" wound up on a compilation album selling over one and one half million units. Following that, Stan was up for Foreigner's lead singer position, signing a production deal with Mick Jones.
Stan has written songs with Jonathan Cain (Journey, Bad English), and Jim Vallance (Bryan Adams, Aerosmith). These songs have appeared on Stan's albums, as well as on other artists' releases. "Love Don't Lie" was recorded by House of Lords, on RCA Records, and "Slave To Love" was cut by Quiet Riot. Stan has worked with many top producers like Ron Nevison, Georgio Moroder, Andy Johns, Desmond Child, Peter Frampton, Richie Zito, David Malloy, etc,...
Stan has toured extensively throughout Europe and has had artist success in Europe, Japan, and the U.S. Look for Stan to break through to the wide audience predicted for him by the worldwide music press and his loyal fans.
