Album Notes
Stan Johnson has been playing professionally for the past 51 years. He and his two sons, Quinn & Dustin, recorded this, their second project. This CD is a combination of latin, funk, blues and easy listening instrumental jazz, and is sure to please jazz enthusiasts of all ages. The 3 Johnsons have performed all over North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Currently living in northern California, Stan plays with five different bands whose styles include jazz, blues, latin, big band & rock. He is a multi-instrumentalist, with this CD showcasing flute, soprano & tenor saxophones. Dustin lives and performs mostly in the Los Angeles area; Quinn lives in LA but tours much of the year.
