Album Notes
Stanley Ray Watson, Jr. is a native of Norfolk, VA where he has been singing since the age of seven. However, Stanley has been singing the gospel for the past several years and has sung in various churches in the Hampton Roads area. Added to his credits, Stanley won Star 94.1 FM Hampton Roads Rising Star contest on Virginia’s #1 gospel radio station; interviewed by Doc Christian on 105.3 KISS FM and was featured on WPCE 1400 AM, WGPL 1350 AM and WRCS Joy 97 AM in Ahoskie, NC. Stanley has also been featured in the “Church and Good Business” newspaper. Stanley has volunteered his services through singing for fundraisers and other event organizations like The Artistic American Veterans, where he sang for the Honorable Don Marcari who was portrayed in the movie “A Few Good Men” by Tom Cruise and The Young People’s Guild in Portsmouth, VA, founded by Mrs. Joyce Tasby. Stanley also performed in the company of Mr. Dalton S. Edge, Mayor of Chesapeake, VA and Ms. Annette V. Wilson, BB&T’s Vice President/Financial Leader. He has also participated in the play “No Money, No Love” where his song “How Many Ya’ll Know (Jesus Is Real) was featured and also “God’s Trombones” which was performed at the Attucks Theater in Norfolk, VA. Recently, Stanley joined Jurnee Productions out of Orlando, FL which is headed by Joe Woodard, founder and CEO. He recently performed on the marquee at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center in Orlando featuring Smokie Norful and at the Orlando Convention Center with Deitrick Haddon. He also shared the stage with Gospel recording artist Ms. Vicki Winans. He appeared on the T.V talk show, The 700 Club, in a supporting acting role. Stanley also is a new member of Calvary Revival Church in Norfolk, VA, under the leadership of Bishop B. Courtney McBath and is a member of the choir. Stanley’s talent is not limited to just singing, he is affiliated with BMI as a Composer/Writer producing songs of praise. Stanley is ministering to people everywhere with the anointing God put on his life.
