ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Stan Ridgway and Co. release 2 new songs for 2013.

1. "Burnin' For Your Love" : Burn baby burn ...Beat and bass ignite in flame. A baritone sax and dark harmony of trumpet and trombone give way to brain piercing fuzz guitar from a screaming red curtained underworld . Wanna play with matches ? Time to light it up.

2. "Your Welcome Mat" : A neo - modern fable about a dysfunctional friendship from a 1970's San Francisco. Complete with psychedelia sheen, lava lamps, hallucinations and an over fed wolf man blowing bubbles in the wind. No foolin' !

Musicians: Stan Ridgway: guitar, vocals / Pietra Wexstun: keyboards, vocals / Bruce Zelesnik: drums and percussion / Rick King: guitar / Bill Blatt: bass / with the Dante's Inferno Horns.
Produced and Engineered by Ridgway / Zelesnik / Wexstun
A440 Music Group
Inspired by the great Screamin' Jay Hawkins, J.B. Lenoir, Duke Ellington and Howlin' Wolf.
