"Serve The Lord With Gladness! Come Into His Presence With Singing! Psalm 100:3 ...this is a verse that sums up what the Stereo Praise Quartet is all about! We have lots of joy when we sing and worship together! And after singing for 10 years, we had so many people asking us to record a CD of our music, that we finally got around to making our first CD! It contains some of our favorite southern gospel songs, including great upbeat songs about heaven...as well as some timeless ballads like "He Touched Me".
Our hope is that you will enjoy singing along in "stereo" with us and our prayer is that the Lord Jesus will use this music to spread His gospel message everywhere.
By the way, there are six of us in the "Stereo" Praise Quartet...that's because we have two tenors and two bass singers...but really, at our age, you never know when you'll need a spare part! :)
We're all husbands and dads, and four of us are grand dads...so I guess we could have called this CD "Papa Praise"...but I think our wives are glad that we didn't! We all love our churches and serve every week in various ministries. Here's a little bit about each of us:
Bill Munn - Bass: Sings with award-winning barbershop chorus Kentucky Vocal Union, as well as the barbershop quartet Leap of Faith, the Kentuckians Chorus, and Porter Memorial Baptist Church in Lexington, KY.
Dave Johnson - Bass: Serves as an elder and sings with the Chapel Praise Choir at the People's Church in Franklin, Tn.
Ed Winn - Baritone: Sings with the Chapel Praise Choir and serves in various ministries at The People's Church in Franklin, TN.
Randy Reynolds - Lead Singer: Singer/songwriter/recording artist and soloist with the People's Church Choir in Franklin, TN as well as active in ministry at church.
Dean Schield - Tenor: Sang with Doug Oldham & The Christian Brothers quartet, recorded multiple CD's and albums, soloist with The People's Church Choir in Franklin, TN and Worship Leader at Rockvale Church of God in Rockvale, TN.
