Great disc!
This is wonderful music. Ancient, ethereal, enveloping, it is compelling and affecting. One imagines he is being entertained by a traveling troupe of musicians in a Black Sea city of long ago.

Phenominal!!!!
I LOVE this CD and have been listening to it almost constantly! It blends together 2 of my worlds--the Balkan music I have just begun to learn and the recorder/early music I have known for years. BRILLIANT!!
